Solitaire: Cards

Privacy Policy

Solitaire: Cards app, formerly Spider Solitaire NG. Last updated: July 7, 2026.

This policy explains how the Solitaire: Cards app (the "app"), published by Akwa ("we"), handles information when you use it. The app is designed to collect as little as possible.

1. Data we collect

Directly, by us: no personal data. The app requires no account, no sign-up and no email address. We run no server that stores your information.

On your device. Your game progress, statistics, streaks and settings are saved locally on your device. This data is not sent to us. It is removed if you uninstall the app.

Through advertising (Google AdMob). The app is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google's SDK may process data such as an advertising identifier, IP address, device type and ad interactions.

Through Game Center. If you use leaderboards and achievements, they are handled by Apple through Game Center under Apple's privacy policy.

2. App Tracking Transparency

On iOS, the app may ask permission to track your activity in order to show more relevant ads. You are free to decline: you will still see ads, but non-personalized ones. You can change this choice at any time in Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking.

3. Consent in the EEA and the UK

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a consent screen (provided by Google's User Messaging Platform) lets you accept or decline personalized advertising. Your choices are honored by our advertising partners.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Legitimate interest: running the app and showing non-personalized ads.
  • Consent: personalized advertising and tracking, when you agree to it.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. The only data processed is handled by our technical providers for the purposes described: Google (advertising and measurement) and Apple (Game Center, app distribution).

6. Retention

Game data stays on your device as long as the app is installed. Advertising-related data is retained by Google according to its own periods.

7. Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

8. Your rights

Depending on your country (GDPR, CCPA), you have rights of access, correction, erasure, objection and restriction. Because we hold no personal data about you on our servers, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device (reset the advertising identifier, delete the app) or with Google and Apple. For any question, write to [email protected].

9. International transfers

Google and Apple may process data outside your country, with the appropriate safeguards set out in their respective policies.

10. Security

The app's network exchanges use standard encrypted connections (HTTPS). The app uses no proprietary encryption.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Significant changes will be noted in the app or on this page.
